Hooda Math Duck Life
There is a game that is called "Hooda Math", this game holds a bunch of other games that have to do with math. My favorite game in the whole website is called "Duck Life", in this little game you have to boost your stats by eating berries and training, there are 4 different stats running, flying, sliding, and swimming. You can also change the color of your duck, change your hair style, and get Hats. The game is also downloadable on mobile devices.
A Frog Tail
Once upon a time, Jenny went to the bathroom and jumped so high up letting out a
big scream. Her head was almost touching the ceiling. There was a frog in the toilet!
“Mom, come quick!” said Jenny.
Then her mom came dashing through the hall breaking
pots and plates.
“What happened sweetie?” said mom.
“There is a frog in the toilet!” said Jenny.
Mom looked in the toilet and said ”Jenny ha-have you been taking those
special vitamins?”
It turns out that when Jenny turned around to tell Mom that the
frog was in the toilet, the frog leaped into the bathtub. When Jenny and mom left
the bathroom the frog leaped on Mom’s head causing a big commotion.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!’’ said Mom and Jenny. Mom ran out of the house
and shook her head next to the garage.
“Get out of my hair you little green monstrosity!!” said mom.
The frog jumped out of the moms hair and jumped into
the garage and into the open car window.

and eat while watching television. A lot was going through mom's mind
as she was driving home from the salon. She was thinking of what she would
do if this frog keep on interfering with her life. Mom had suddenly got an
idea. She thought that she could go to the pond and let the frog down there.
Mom sped down to the park and and brought the purse. “Mom stop!”
Mom waited for Jenny to catch up. Jenny snatched the frog and said
“ What is the date?" "It is the 1st of April.” said mom. Mom dropped her purse
and laughed so hard that she started to cry.

On the way home mom could not stop laughing. “So what is his name?” asked
mom. “I do not know. He is not mine he is for my friend Marisol, you have seen
her before.she asked me to babysit sit him for the weekend. Oh and by the way
I would just like to tell you April Fools. I set the whole thing up.”. When mom
and Jenny got home mom said “ You are grounded!” Jenny understood why.
“At least it was worth it.” said Jenny.
The following day Jenny’s father Mike, stayed home. He hated frogs and then he
saw Jenny’s friend’s frog in the toilet. He ran back to the room and got a long stick. Thankfully Jenny stopped her father in time.” Jenny I hate frogs and you now that sweetie!!!” said Mike. Then that same day the frog found a way to get inside of the parents room! Jenny heard a loud girly scream. It was coming from her father's room. Then she turned to see if the frog had still been inside of the cage but he was gone. Jenny knew that this could not be good. She dropped everything and dashed up the stairs into her father’s room. There she saw Mike crunched up in a corner under a blanket and the frog just staring at him like “Really.” Jenny picked up the frog and laughed at her father while pointing. “What happened to the big man with a stick dad.” said Jenny. “Jenny you are grounded.”said Mike. Then Jenny had been grounded for two weeks including the amount of time her mother grounded
her for which was a month.
That Monday Jenny had told the whole school. Then when Jenny's parents went to open house... everybody laughed at them. including the principal on the TA system. Then Jenny got grounded for six months. Including the month and two weeks.

Music Class For Me
My parents wanted me to do an activity instead of being at home so my mom signed me up for music class. Now every Monday and Wednesday I take guitar lessons.
Last Saturday, I had a performance. My guitar class played a song called "Looking at the Clouds". At the performance there was also dance, ballet, choir, recorder, violin,drum and other instruments or activities. At the end of the show they all played together. It was amazing!
I enjoy taking guitar classes. I hope I get better each day!

A Wrinkle In Time
On Sunday March 18, 2018, the movie A Wrinkle In Time was still in theaters. My step-mom and I went to watch it! The movie was a very good movie because of the tense moments, that made the movie very interesting. In the movie a girl named Meg has been alarmed by the three Misses who told that her father cried for help in the universe. The movie was really sad when the dad was found. I cried a lot in the movie. I can not say anymore about the movie or else I will spoil it for my friends that want to watch it as well. If you have not watched it make sure to watch it. It is a really good movie I promise you.

Bananas, Bananas, And Bananas
This weekend I learned something about bananas. I found out that there are more than 2 types of bananas. Before, I only knew about the regular banana, and also about plantains. Then, on Saturday, I discovered two more types of banana. Those bananas are baby bananas and burro bananas. I like baby bananas because they are so tiny. Burro Bananas are kind of like baby bananas, but a little bit bigger.

A Trip To Ensenada
My trip to Ensenada was amazing. It was no ordinary trip that you have to take a plane, I actually went there by boat! It was fun it was a cruise. I went with my dad, stepmom, and step sister. Me and my step sister had so much fun we went to the pool almost all every day, we went to a diva show, we played jenga and bean bag tossing by the pool, and we watched two comedy shows. They were really funny, but the most fun part that my step sister and I both agreed on was racing my stepmom and dad to our room or to the main lobby.
A reason why my stepsister and I would race my dad and stepmom was because my dad and stepmom could never agree on what to take either the stairs or the elevator. My stepsister and I always agreed to take the stairs because the elevator took way too long to come but my dad and stepmom always agreed on the elevator because they would not keep going up and down stairs. They said they will only do it if we had our room a little bit more high up because we were on level four and the main lobby was at level ten so they did not feel like going up and down stairs. And what was also really fun about it because my stepsister and I kept winning them all the time even though the elevator is technically faster than stairs.
Once we got to Ensenada my step mom's friend picked us up from boat and took us horseback riding !!! I only sat on top of the horse I was too scared to go all the way to the beach with the horse but my step sister and stepmom did my dad stood with me waiting for them. While we were waiting for them we actually got to pet one of the horses and actually we got to see how the man bring in the foal and train them to get used to people. After that my step mom's friend took us to a beach. It was cool because when the waves keep hitting each other and made this big gush of water and it was so big that it wet most of us. We also got to collect a few items from the beach. My step sister got four sand dollars, a clam, and a flower. I just got a flower but my stepsister gave me two of hers but one of them broke so I only have one. They are very fragile. In the same area you can play with wild animals they have rescued. My step sister and I went to play with a lion cub they rescued. He was really heavy but I only carried him for a little bit because he doesn’t like to be carried. After we went to eat my step mom and my dad ate what I think was oyster with shrimp, cheese, lime, and different things on it. My step sister and I ate tacos. After that we went walking and I bought a shawl for my teacher. Then we had to go back on the boat. I had so much fun I hope I can go on a cruise again soon.

Martin Luther King Jr. Remembered
On Monday, March 26th, I went to the park. When I went to the park I saw a stone monument to Martin Luther King Jr. On it was a picture and parts of his famous I Have A Dream Speech. His dream was for people of color to have equal rights as whites in America.
I liked seeing this because I think it is time for people to start remembering what he stood for.
Today I remembered that my dad and I were watching TV and the show was talking about how Martin Luther King was assassinated at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee in 1968 at 6:01 CST. He died today, April 4th. It has been 50 years since his death.
And maybe somethings have changed, but not a lot.
